Debenhams and Arcadia, two to Britain’s biggest retailers, have both announced stronger than expected sales in the last quarter. Arcadia controls several High Street clothes shops, including Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Wallis, Evans, Burton and Dorothy Perkins.
