The British High Street has experienced a terrible November as far as trade is concerned. Sales have plummeted pushing many more shops on the brink of bankruptcy.

High Street sales have been down for over a year now, with only a small growth seen since November 2008. After October’s unexpected growth retailers became more optimistic for the end of the year. Now the whole trading year rests on the Christmas shopping period.
